The present

The Space after the past and before the future

This is where we are now,
In the space after the past, and before the future.

This is actually where we always are!
“The Now” or “The Present” is always just this.

So, if you feel you are becoming agitated, over-whelmed or over-stimulated, try to still yourself and notice where you are and, hopefully, that you are ok.  This connects you to the present moment.

Sound un-reachable?

Acupuncture is an amazing place to learn about this feeling if you happen to be a person that has trouble stilling, or feeling ok. A proper treatment can remove obstacles for you so that you can slip quietly through the cracks of EVERYTHING GOING ON to experience being. The more we experience this being, we start to naturally focus less on doing-for-doing's-sake and can make choices in our doings that take on greater meaning. These more—structured doings tend to be more closely tied to our own personal mission statement.

Chinese medicine is not just about pain.  In fact, the history of the medicine is about treatment before there is illness.  At the heart of the medicine are many teachings about keeping ourselves on our path and reaching greater heights of accomplishment - not because we worked 24 hours a day to reach some vague productivity quota, but because we knew our target and we made conscientious steps in that direction, over time, with generous rest stops along the way.

Coming for acupuncture regularly keeps you closer to the person you hope to become, even as you are becoming.

Good luck out there, and I hope to see you, in here, soon.

Theresa
